Join us and the qualified guides from the Australian School of Mountaineering for a special* 1-day Wilderness Navigation Course in the Blue Mountains!
*This course is normally 2 days but we have partnered with ASM to bring to you this more accessible 1-day version
How The Day Goes:
8.45am - meet at the Australian School of Mountaineering Office at 166 Katoomba Street, Katoomba (2-minute walk from Katoomba train station).
The course will cover:
Introduction into compass and map and how they work
UTM grid references
Walking an off-track route from a route card
We'll be back at the ASM Office no later than 5pm.
You'll receive a detailed itinerary of the day after registration.
If you are travelling from Sydney to Katoomba, allow 2 hours by train or 1.5 hours by car.
The Australian School of Mountaineering Office is inside The Paddy Pallin Adventure Centre:
166 Katoomba Street
It is a 2-minute walk from the train station.
We'll be learning our navigation skills in the beautiful Blue Mountains so be aware that there will be some bushwalking involved!
Time: 8.45am - 5pm

If you're unable to make the new date it we will offer you a full refund.
