Wales : Women's Rock Climbing Day

Women's rock Climbing Day // 23rd June - $55 + booking fees

We've partnered with JT Expeditions to bring you this Women's Rock Climbing Experience. During your time with us at Boiler Slab, we’ll teach you all the basic skills of rock climbing on what we call a bottom rope system, similar to that you may see in an indoor climbing wall. We’ll teach you how to tie into the rope correctly, belay your partner safely as well as climb with good technique and lower from the top of a route.

Meet outside the Public Toilet Block in Port Eynon Public Car Park. Near the Smugglers Haunt and sea front where there are a selection of fish and chip shops.

Crag Safety

Safety is critical within the rock climbing environment, you will be accompanied by a qualified and insured Single Pitch Award holder (rock climbing instructor) with vast experience at British crags and climbing venues. Your instructor holds a valid outdoor specific First Aid Certificate and will carry appropriate safety equipment at all times. We require that you pay attention and adhere to their instructions and guidance at all times to insure your own safety and do not act in a manner that could potentially risk the safety of the instructor, the group or yourself.
