Women's Free Meet up Hike with Bushwalk The Gong

Sunday 21st May - 8am - 11am - Brokers Nose, Corrimal, NSW 2519

Must register below for the event - limited spaces available.

A collaboration venture between Bushwalk the 'Gong and She Went Wild celebrating our first women's event; an opportunity for women to connect and embrace leading an outdoors lifestyle.

About the walk...

A classic Wollongong walk to our most iconic peak. An easy paced walk taking you through various types of bushland with sneaky peaks to the Illawarra below. The walk meanders through creek beds and scrub with opportunities to spot wildlife and interesting plant life.

The walk is pretty easy, so don't be concerned if you are unfit. We will be taking our time taking in the sites and a chance to meet new people. If you like to take photos, there are some terrific photo opportunities available and a great chance to have an epic shot at the summit - I can help here for the perfect social media photo!

Full information on the walk, parking and meeting spots will be sent via email to ticketholders.

Insurance Information.

First time walkers are free and covered by insurance through the National Parks Association (NPA). When booking for the second and third walks we request a donation to the NPA which will be converted to a (discounted) 12 month membership on booking for the third walk. Any subsequent walks on the Bushwalk the 'Gong or NPA programs in the 12 month period will not be charged under the provisions of membership. Donations for a second walk, not converted to a membership, are tax deductable.

The NPA is a not for profit, non-government, incorporated association. We do not directly charge for walks but we do need to comply with the insurance requirements of Bushwalking Australia for people taking part in activities including those such as joint venture with Bushwalk the ‘Gong.
